What's new on the 2023 Kia EV6
The follow-up to the inaugural model brings with it a new high-performance trim called the GT. Kia has also retired the Light trim, which had previously served as the base.
2023 Kia EV6 - Performance
Performance for the new Kia EV6 for sale near Fort Collins depends on trim level and drive layout. If you opt for a rear-wheel-drive Wind or GT-Line, your EV6 will make 225 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. If you opt for an all-wheel-drive Wind or GT-Line, then the vehicle will have a second motor and therefore make 320 hp and 446 lb.-ft. The GT is AWD exclusively but also has more powerful motors so that it makes 576 hp and 545 lb.-ft.
Kia EV6 - Safety
All EV6 models available through Grand Kia have a 12.3-inch infotainment touch screen, a rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking, blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning, lane keeping, front and rear parking sensors and driver attention warning. A surround-view camera, blind-spot camera, rear automatic braking and automated parking are optional with the base trim and standard beyond that point. The GT-Line and GT models also get more advanced versions of the automatic braking system and a head-up display.
Kia EV6 - Mechanical

The EV6 supports Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 charging. Level 1 requires a 120-volt outlet. It’s the slowest option but a good one to have in a jam or if you don’t put many miles on your EV6. Level 3 charging is available at DC fast-charging stations and allows charging up to 80% in under 20 minutes.
