Trim Levels

The trim options we carry all have several great features for our Denver and Arvada customers. The EV6 Wind (RWD) is the first trim in the lineup. This model has 12.3-inch dual displays, heated and ventilated front seats, and several driver-assist mechanisms. The next trim is the Wind (e-AWD) with all-wheel drive and a heated steering wheel.

The GT-Line (RWD) sits in the middle of the five-trim lineup. Its upgrades include a sunroof, a head-up display, and automatically extending flush door handles. The other two options are in the GT family, too. The GT-Line (e-AWD) has black 20-inch wheels and other interesting exterior stylings, and the GT (e-AWD) uses 21-inch wheels and high-performance tires. All GT EV6 models come with alloy sport pedals and black cloth headliners, contributing to their sporty appearance.

Interior and Exterior Features

This all-electric SUV has a streamlined look and an angular frame. Plus, it has many high-end components inside and outside its cabin. All trims have heated and power-folding side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and smart power tailgates. They can also have sunroofs, and flush door handles that can automatically extend out. The spacious cabin has 39 inches of rear-seat legroom and a maximum cargo capacity of more than 50 cubic feet. With a standard dual-zone climate control system, the EV6 can keep everyone comfortable, and the rear seats can have heating elements. The storage area under the center console and the second-row center armrest are convenient. The upholstery can be vegan leather or suede.

Performance

Thornton customers have several choices for the powertrain, which are all quite powerful. As indicated by the different trim names, the EV6 is available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. Not only do the all-wheel-drive versions have better traction, but they also have much more capability. The Wind and GT-Line trims have rear-wheel-drive and a 225-horsepower engine producing 258 pound-feet of torque. In comparison, the all-wheel-drive Wind and GT-Line come with 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque. The top-of-the-line GT trim, with all-wheel drive, kicks things up another notch. It has 545 pound-feet of torque and 576 horsepower. As we mentioned, the GT has enhanced components that improve its handling.

Technology

The pair of 12.3-inch panoramic displays is one of the first things people will notice when looking inside the cabin of the EV6. The infotainment package includes navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM. The vehicle can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot, and the audio system includes 14 speakers. Further, there are five USB ports and a wireless charging pad in every new EV6.

Safety

Considering all the technology that the Kia EV6 has, it's not a surprise that it features numerous driver-assist systems. Its monitors can sense cyclists, pedestrians, and vehicles in blind spots. Lane-keeping assist, driver attention warning, and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist are some standard components, and a highway driving assist program can control steering and speed.
